PCH Travel Tips
Timing: Allow for plenty of time to enjoy the stops along the way—this route offers breathtaking views, and it’s a shame to rush through it. The included travel times are estimates, and may vary largely depending on traffic, which tends to be heavy in the city during all times of day.
Weather: The weather along the Pacific Coast can be unpredictable, even during springtime, so pack layers and check the forecast before heading out.
Driving: While the drive is relatively straightforward, parts of PCH can be winding and narrow, so drive with caution and take breaks as needed.
